Whichever way you get in touch, it helps to include four things: whether you want the studio or a visit, your postcode or hotel and room number if it is a visit, the treatment or the length you want, one or two possible dates and times, and anything sore, injured or recently operated on. The more of that is in the first message, the faster a slot can be confirmed.

Messages are usually answered within the hour between 8am and 10pm. You will get back either a confirmation of the time and address, or the nearest slot if the one you asked for has gone. Nothing is booked until you have that reply. Payment is taken at the end of the appointment by card, bank transfer or cash, and there is a 24 hour cancellation policy.

About two metres by one is enough for the table, with a little room to move around it. Most bedrooms, living rooms and hotel rooms work well. At the studio the room is already set up.

Nothing. For a visit he brings the table, linens, oils and music; a room with a door that closes is helpful but not essential. At the studio everything is there already.

Yes. A professional folding table travels to every appointment, wide and padded, along with fresh linens and towels for each client. It takes a couple of minutes to set up and about the same to pack away, and it is all included in the price.

Whatever you're comfortable removing to your underwear. You are properly draped with a towel or sheet throughout, and only the area being worked on is uncovered.

Yes. Hotel guests are a regular part of the working week across Mayfair and Knightsbridge. Share the hotel name and room number when you book, and let reception or concierge know a visitor is expected if the hotel requires it.

The studio is in Kilburn, NW6. Mobile visits reach anywhere within twenty miles of it, taking in all of Central London and out to Canary Wharf, Richmond and Chiswick, and further on request. Travel is included within five miles of the studio, with a small charge further out. Around North West London you can also book the studio itself. If you are not sure whether your postcode is covered, send it and ask.

Two people back to back can usually be arranged with enough notice. Simultaneous couples treatments are not offered, as there is only one therapist.

Let him know when you book. Pressure and technique are adjusted around the area, and some spots may be avoided or approached differently. If you are at all unsure, check with your GP or physio first.

Not at present. Pregnancy massage calls for separate training he does not currently hold, so it is not offered rather than adapted on the day.

Same-day and next-day appointments are often available, especially at the studio and nearby in North West London. Weekend mornings, early evenings and addresses towards the edge of the area are worth booking a day or two ahead. Send your postcode and a preferred time and you will usually get a reply within the hour.

Card, bank transfer or cash, whichever suits you. Payment is taken at the end of the appointment, not in advance, and a receipt is available if you need one. Prices include any travel charge for your postcode, which is confirmed when you book.

Please give at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less notice are charged in full, as the slot cannot usually be refilled.

Yes. He holds a recognised massage therapy qualification and full public liability insurance, and certificates are available on request. The specific qualification, awarding body and insurer are listed on the About page.

Yes. A standing weekly or fortnightly slot can be arranged at a fixed rate, the same as the block booking option on the treatments page.
